We scour the investment landscape for the best-in-class ALT opportunities and deliver to our clients options that fit their needs and goals. This strategy is intended to dampen the overall volatility of the portfolio, while enhancing long-term expected returns.

Over the past few years many employers have enhanced their retirement plans to include a brokerage window opportunity so that plan participants have more choice and greater flexibility with their retirement investments. This option, known as the Self Directed Brokerage Account (SDBA), exists in 401(k), 403(b) and 457 plans where participants will have access to professional management, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETFs.

Term insurance - A policy with a set duration limit on the coverage period. This type of policy provides a stated benefit upon the death of the policy owner, provided coverage is in force. Term Insurance is also known as pure life insurance because its sole purpose is to insure individuals against the loss of life. It is generally the least expensive type of life insurance to purchase.
Whole life insurance - A contract with premiums that includes insurance and investment components. The insurance component pays a predetermined amount when the insured individual dies. The investment component builds an accumulated cash value the insured individual can borrow against or withdraw.
Disability Insurance - A program managed by the Social Security Administration that insures a worker in case of a mishap. Disability insurance offers income protection to individuals who become disabled for a long period of time, and as a result can no longer work during that time period.
Long Term Care Insurance - Coverage that provides nursing-home care, home-health care, personal or adult day care for individuals above the age of 65 or with a chronic or disabling condition that needs constant supervision. LTC insurance offers more flexibility and options than many public assistance programs.
Annuities - An annuity is a contractual financial product sold by financial institutions that is designed to accept and grow funds from an individual and then, upon annuitization, pay out a stream of payments to the individual at a later point in time.
